Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters Receives 10 More Bicycles in Donations From Realized Solutions
As a proud member of our community, the Realized Solutions team understands how important it is to give back. The more we grow and succeed as a business, the more opportunity we have to give to those in need.
That’s why we’ve chosen to continue our support of Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters, donating another ten bicycles and helmets, and bringing our total to 50 donated bicycles in the past five years. What began as a team-building exercise building bicycles has grown into an annual, beloved tradition for our team.
“The bike building tradition has been going on for five years, and we love doing it,” Laura Beyer, director of marketing for Realized Solutions, told the New Britain Herald. “This is a way for us to give back, and we love the idea of being able to give a child something that can be healthy for the mind, body, and spirit.”
For more than a century, Big Brothers Big Sisters has worked to help children grow, succeed, and thrive. Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters is Connecticut’s largest volunteer mentoring network, serving over 132 towns throughout the state.
Realized Solutions is honored to be a part of their contribution to the quality of life for children throughout our community. The bikes we’ve built and donated have gone to children like Nehemiah Rodriguez, who wished for a bike for his seventh birthday, and Daniella Silva, whose single mother has recently been recovering from COVID-19.
The Realized Solutions team is proud to work with an organization like Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters. We’re looking forward to our next chance to give back to the community, and we’re inviting you to help – if you want to make a difference in the lives of the children around you, get in touch with our team to participate in our next initiative.
